Board of Regents to decide whether to extend benefits to same-sex couples

Nebraska Watchdog has learned that Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Bob Kerrey has bought a house in Omaha. The home at 415 N. 61st St. is located near Memorial Park. According to the Douglas County Assessor’s website, the 1-1/2 story-1,824 square foot house is valued for tax purposes at $230,700. The 2011 taxes on the home were $4,850.
