Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson (D) is still finding it necessary to defend the so-called “Cornhusker Kickback.”

During a speech in Millard on Tuesday, a speech that carried added security, Nelson went over the six month old deal that- good or bad- made Nelson a national name.

Speaking to a crowd of about 75 people, Nelson was not specifically asked about the now famous agreement but during a question about government spending he brought it up.

Nebraska Watchdog has the exclusive video including one member of the audience who believes Nelson got it right.

Ben has been ducking and covering since Decemeber hoping that things back home will cool off since his Obamacare vote. Hopefully Nebraska voters memories won’t be so short and we can throw tis bum out

He will never run again, so he will not have to be thrown out.
